LG quilt tree antique farmhouse Christmas pillow bowl filler, OOAK repurposed cottagecore festive worn quilted decor, holiday cupboard tuck

I’ve searched the New England countryside all over to seek out unique antique textiles to repurpose into new decor here in my 1787 Massachusetts farmhouse studio.

Here: I came across a rare find. This worn 19th century quilt was made from just ONE quilt piece. I was only able to make two small pumpkin pillows (sold to a fabulous customer) and have made just 2 larger Christmas tree pillows. There is no more of this special and rare quilt left - it was once filled with sheep’s wool.

Each of the only 2 antique 19th century antique quilt primitive Christmas tree medium sized pillows are designed and handcrafted by me. These one of a kind upcycled rustic stunning Christmas trees are finished with cute jute bows and a vintage button topped off with a brass bell. There is white quilting on the reverse and contrast taken from a second quilt. The quilt which makes up the tree is especially unique as it has the original sheep’s wool batting peeking out. Imagine the labor once involved to clean and card the family sheep to insert into the quilt then sew these fabulous still vibrant colors.

These rustic primitive handmade tree pillows make a charming and festive Christmas holiday table piece.

Perfect as a holiday bowl filler, winter cupboard tuck or as tiered tray holiday Christmas rustic decor.

Approximately 8 inches wide and 11 inches tall, they are also suitable as a large enough sofa pillow.
