Pillow - antique quilt & grain sack heart, farmhouse heart sofa pillow decor, rustic cottage style quilted toss cushion, heart throw pillows

I found this stunningly RARE indigo and yellow quilt which is worn and tattered from the 19th century. I just love the deep blue with tiny stitching and dots in the fabric. Indigo blue in the 19th century was expensive and there are not many examples left of true 19th century quilting that has retained its deep blue dye color - and the still vibrant yellow is a nice contrast to it.

I made the reverse of this pillow with the lovliest dusty blue antique grain sack and I frayed the edges to contrast the quilt.

This pillow is approximately 12 x 12, including the grain sack edging. It is large enough for a sofa, or, small enough to display in a chair, in a large bowl/basket as a bowl filler, in or above a cupboard as a display or shelf sit. The pillow is suitable for any farmhouse, shabby cottage or pioneer woman style decors.

The price reflects the rarity of this item and that the reverse is also an antique grain sack of a rare blue. Please note that worn and tattered texture of these hearts are reflective of antique textiles. They also have slight tea staining which lends further charm.
