21” Antique German grainsack bolster pillow, rustic farmhouse grain sack cushion, patched primitive pillow home decor, distressed tattered

RARE antique German grain sack has been made into a stunning 21” bolster pillow here in my 1787 farmhouse studio. I came across this find and could not believe the timeworn color and rustic distressed textures. I really liked the primitive super interesting textures next to the german writings (Z ADLER) on the grain sack. I added some antique lace across the top and left the edges frayed for texture which adds to its charm. I wanted to make it long and narrow to be an accent pillow which would be particularly nice for a grain sack pillow collection to offset a display.

The reverse is the same grain sack and this adds to the cost, charm, design, quality and durability. It is filled with polyfill.

This pillow is large enough to display on a sofa or a den easy chair. It’s perfect for any rustic farmhouse, shabby cottage or French country decors wherever one wants an OOAK touch of antique, distressed, rustic textured nostalgia. Approximately 21 inches long and just 6 inches tall it is perfect as a front pillow in a collection accent. Not a toy. Spot clean only.

As with any unique item, returns are not accepted and there are wonderfully distressed-worn-tattered-tea staining which adds to this antique grain sack pillows charm.
