18" antique crazy quilt bunny sofa pillow, RARE Victorian silk & velvet baroque rabbit toss cushion, folk art bunnies home decor, heart too!

This 18" (LARGE) antique quilt bunny sofa pillow is made from a RARE Victorian baroque style crazy quilt made of luxe chocolate brown velvets, brocades, embroidery and silks and I made a matching heart too! Just charming as a farmhouse cottage quilt rabbit toss cushion or as folk art bunnies home decor. Years ago, women would stitch these lovely quilts from scraps of their worn but best loved garments - here: velvet, silk, embroidery and lace. It is so charmingly distressed/tattered and has the prettiest pink bow. It is large enough to use for a toss cushion. Although it is tattered and well-worn, it still has such lovely rich colorings that is perfect as a farmhouse cottage bunny rabbit. The reverse is an incredible antique damask which adds to the charm, design and cost of this bunny. I finished the rabbit off with a pink satin gauze bow.

This rabbit will compliment any farmhouse, shabby cottage or Spring/Easter decor. It also would make a thoughtful gift. Approximately 18 inches tall and 9 inches wide and the matching heart is approximately 6 inches tall and 5 inches wide. Please note the worn nature of the antique quilt as there is some tea staining, worn areas or tatters which adds to its charm. The price reflects the rarity of antique textiles -particularly this special one- which are getting increasingly hard to find - and as I added the same rare quilt to the reverse, the textiles to make this one of a kind bunny are more costly.
