Pillow- antique cross stitch & European textile with wide lace trim and applique shabby home decor, cottage farmhouse style, handmade, 18”

Stunning 18 inch Pillow- made from Victorian Baroque cross stitch and a European (from Berlin) Art Deco damask textile with charming antique wide lace trim and applique flowers. This one of a kind handmade toss cushion is perfect for any shabby home decor, French country, shabby chic, or, cottage farmhouse styles and is approximately 18 inches square. The damask is from a rare piece I picked up in Berlin last fall and is from the German Art Deco era- so luxe. The Cross stitch is lovely and neutral: "The rose in morning grows its bloom, scenting the garden with sweet perfume." This antique cross stitch pillow is so pretty with stitched pale pink roses on the crossstitch background and a matching white picket fence. I added a Victorian floral trim originally from a dress piece I found which picks up the sage green in the cross stitch. The pictures truly do not do it justice.

Please note: the reverse is also the Art Deco European/German damask which adds to the design, cost and charm of this unique pillow. As with any true antique there may be gentle tea staining, distressed/worn areas which adds to its charm. Not a toy. Spot clean only. Returns not accepted for unique antique textiles such as this.
